Check out the final rankings before the Hillsdale County Area Best boys track meet

HILLSDALE — Championship season is in full swing for track and field in Hillsdale County.

Regional and conference champions have been crowned, and soon there will be MITCA Team State championships to be added to trophy cases for a few teams. Before many of the local student athlete state qualifiers prepare for their journey to the MHSAA LP state finals, there is one last stop they will have to take before making their way over to Kent City or Hudsonville.

The Hillsdale Area Best meet will be held on Tuesday, May 28 in Hayden Park at Hillsdale College. Nine student athletes will be chosen as entries into each track and field event to determine a true County champion. We have been tracking the rankings for the Area Best meet in which the pool of competing athletes will be chosen from.

These are the final top 10 ranked boys track athletes and the final top ranked relay teams. Relay times are pulled from the currently listed top 10 that are available. Only one relay team per school will be listed. Some of these student athletes ranked may choose not to participate in the 2024 Area Best Meet and other athletes/relay teams may be entered; this list does not represent the final list of entries.
