Check out the 2024 MIAA spring state championships schedule
The sun beating down and rising temperatures can only mean one thing, the MIAA spring postseason is right around the corner.
Central Massachusetts has already begun its sectional championships. There are eight MIAA spring sports. That's a lot of tournaments, cutoff dates and championships to track.
The top 32 teams across most head-to-head sports (baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis and volleyball) will qualify automatically along with any teams above .500. Rugby features smaller fields and more strict qualification procedures due to the number of teams. The individual tennis will also return for the first time since 2019 in a new format run by USTA.

There are six defending champions from MetroWest and the Milford area: Lincoln-Sudbury girls lacrosse, Dover-Sherborn girls lacrosse, Wayland boys tennis, Wellesley boys and girls track and field and Westborough boys track and field.
