Cincinnati Bengals rookie running back Chase Brown was injured during the third quarter of Saturday's NFL Week 15 win against the Minnesota Vikings at Paycor Stadium.

Brown was evaluated in the blue medical tent. He was replaced by Trayveon Williams.

Starter Joe Mixon was in the game for the Bengals' extended fourth-quarter scoring drive, and scored on a 1-yard touchdown run that tied the game.

Brown was back in the game later in the fourth quarter. He finished the game with seven carries for 23 rushing yards, and three receptions for 28 receiving yards.

A fifth-round draft pick of the Bengals earlier this year, Brown had three catches for 80 yards with a touchdown during Cincinnati's Week 14 win against the Indianapolis Colts, and added 25 rushing yards on eight carries.

The 5-foot-9 Brown, who missed several games with a hamstring injury earlier this season, enjoyed a breakout game in the Bengals' overtime win against the Jaguars in Jacksonville, rushing nine times for 61 yards, including a 31-yard run in the third quarter.
