NC State's defense was stellar on Saturday: It held Chattanooga to single digits in three of four quarters and 33.3% shooting from the field while forcing nine turnovers. The win marked the 17th consecutive home win in the NCAA Tournament for the Wolfpack.
The Lady Vols (20-12, 10-6 in SEC play) are coming off a thumping win of their own in the first round of March Madness, taking down 11 seed Green Bay 92-63. Tennessee's offense is led in scoring by forward Rickea Jackson at 19.7 points per game. She had a game-high 26 points and nine rebounds vs. Green Bay.
