What channel is the Florida gymnastics meet on today? Time, TV for NCAA Championships Final

Judgment Day is here for the Florida gymnastics team.

Saturday afternoon, the Gators will take the floor at Dickies Arena for the 15th and final time as a team.

By meet's end, UF will either take home the program's fourth national title and first since 2015, or go home empty handed for the fourth season in a row.

Here's what to know, start time and how to watch:

Florida gymnastics in NCAA Championships Final: What to Know

The Gators advanced to their 16th Team Final in 18 years in Thursday's later semifinal.

The biggest story nationwide, though, wasn't Florida's continually dominance. Instead it was the stunning upset of its kryptonite — Oklahoma.

The Sooners, who many pundits believed could go down as the greatest team in college gymnastics history, started slow with three falls on vault and never recovered.

OU landed in a distant third place behind Utah and UF.

With all the chaos around them, coach Jenny Rowland kept the Gators cool and composed. Florida scored between a 49.400 and a 49.500 on all four events, and after Alabama imploded on the beam, UF took second place and held it throughout.

Rowland said post meet that Florida knew of Oklahoma's struggles, but the team successfully blocked it out.

Leanne Wong shared the same sentiment.

"We can only control what we do in the gym,'' Leanne Wong said after the meet. "When we come out on the competition floor and there are three other teams, you can't worry about what they're doing."

Even freshman, like Anya Pilgrim, stayed clear of the distractions.

"Personally, that's none of my business, so I can only really control what I can do,'' Pilgrim said. "This was like my Olympics. I loved it."

The task awaiting Florida next is no less herculean. It must defeat an LSU team with an otherworldly floor routine, a hungry Cal team looking for its first natty, and a Utah team looking to restore its historic domination on the sport.

"I'm just really happy the Florida Gators are moving on. I think we're just fired up," Wong said. "All season, we've been building from the bottom to where we are now, and we're in an amazing place."

Rowland said this season has lived up to the hype, regardless of how it ends.

"I couldn't be more proud of this team. Truly, this team has grown up in front of our eyes this season,'' she said. "It's been a dream come true as a coach."

Florida gymnastics in NCAA Championships Semifinals: History

The Gators are one of seven teams in NCAA gymnastics to have won a national title. UF prevailed in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Overall, this is Florida's 20th appearance in the NCAA Championship Final.

UF's success has been amplified over the last two decades. In its last 18 championship appearances, Florida advanced to the team final in 16 of them.

This included 2022 and 2023, where the Gators placed second both years to Oklahoma.

Florida is the most recent champion of the four. Utah has 10 national titles but none since 1995.

LSU and Cal have never won a national title. The Golden Bears, in fact, are in their first Team Final in history.
