What channel is Colts vs. Jaguars on? How to watch, picks, odds in NFL Week 6

The Indianapolis Colts visit the Jacksonville Jaguars in an AFC South matchup in NFL Week 6 action. Both teams are 3-2 and tied atop the division standings.

Gardner Minshew has the reins of the Colts offense after Anthony Richardson (shoulder) was placed in the injured reserve list. Minshew has finished each of the Colts' wins, two in relief of an injured Richardson and one in a start. Running back Jonathan Taylor may get more action, but Zack Moss had a career game in Week 5. Linebacker Zaire Franklin leads the NFL in tackles.

The Jaguars have owned the Colts at EverBank Stadium over the past decade, winning eight straight home games in the series (one was played in London). Quarterback Trevor Lawrence, running back Travis Etienne and wide receiver Calvin Ridley have been an effective threesome for the Jacksonville offense, and Josh Allen powers the defense.

The Jaguars beat the host Colts 31-21 in Week 1.

NFL Week 6 picks, predictions

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports, Jaguars 27-20: This is for first place in the division. The Jaguars beat the Colts in Week 1, but that seems like a long time ago. Both teams impressed last week, but the Colts will start former Jaguars player Gardner Minshew this week for the injured Anthony Richardson. I think this will be about Jacksonville stopping the Colts run game. Jacksonville will limit it and win.

Sheil Kapadia, The Ringer, Colts cover the spread (but not necessarily win): I don’t fully trust this Jaguars group. With the Colts, Saints, and Steelers coming up, I’d like to see them go on a run. Indy will turn to Gardner Minshew in this one, and we’ve seen enough of him over the years to know that Minshew can operate a competent offense. I’ll go ahead and take the points.

Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News, Jaguars 31-23: This looks like it will be a well-timed revenge game for Gardner Minshew, back where his mustachioed mania started in Jacksonville. That takes the key rushing element of Anthony Richardson (right shoulder) in the early-season rematch. The Colts' secondary already proved it cannot handle Calvin Ridley and all of Trevor Lawerence's weapons. The Jaguars' defense also is legit good against the run and will slow down Zack Moss and/or Jonathan Taylor.

Sam Farmer, Los Angeles Times, Jaguars 30-23: The Colts have a hard time winning in Jacksonville. They’re better with Gardner Minshew at quarterback. The Jaguars, coming off a big win over Buffalo, are just a better team and they’re at home.

Mike Florio, Pro Football Talk, Colts 27-24: Gardner Minshew returns! Jonathan Taylor should get more work, and the Jags possibly will struggle a bit to acclimate after two straight games in London.

Brent Sobleski, Bleacher Report, Colts win: The Colts enter this game knowing Minshew is their starting quarterback after they placed Anthony Richardson (AC joint sprain) on short-term injured reserve. Those adjustments may favor the Colts, who can lean into a run-based offense and a sound defense.
