What channel is the Bills game on? How to watch Buffalo Bills vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Stefon Diggs said he, Josh Allen and the Bills offense just needs to get back to doing what they know they are capable of.

ORCHARD PARK - When the Buffalo Bills’ 2023 schedule was released, three things jumped off the page.

The first was that, holy cow, they have seven island games, meaning they would be playing the only game in a particular TV window - a whopping six in prime-time plus the morning kickoff in London.

Second, it was plainly clear the second half of the slate was going to be laborious with road games against the Bengals, Eagles, Chiefs, Chargers and Dolphins.

Lastly, it was also clear that the three-game stretch the Bills are about to conclude Thursday night when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would likely be the softest section in the schedule - home to the Giants, at the Patriots, home to the Bucs.

Or, maybe not. The Bills came one yard away from losing to New York, they lost at New England, and that makes this Amazon Prime game against Tampa Bay about as close as you can get to a must-win game in late October.

As it stands right now, the Bills are clinging to the seventh and final playoff berth in the stacked AFC. Simply put, the Bills can’t afford to stub their toe as they did against the Patriots because if they find a way to lose this game and fall to 4-4, their playoff chances are going to take a precipitous dip.

Could they lose to the Bucs and still make the postseason? Sure. But if they lose, do you really have much faith that they can rally to make it five years in a row with a playoff berth?

It’s a big game, and Sean McDermott knows it. “Each and every one of us start by looking at ourselves and what we can do better,” he said. “And I think that’s really where it starts, you take ownership of your piece of this and then raise your game in terms of doing your job better. I think that’s a healthy place to start.”
