Celtics’ Jayson Tatum talks about Boston’s chemistry driving their success
While the more obvious part of the Boston Celtics’ second half of the season success has been their elite defense, there is something to be said for the chemistry developed by the team during the struggles during the season’s first half.
The style of play most recently used by Boston on the other end of the court has given the Celtics one of the better offenses in the league, and that offense is built on ball movement and trust. Both of the latter were in short supply to start the 2021-22 campaign, but now are a key part of what makes the team win.
All-Star forward Jayson Tatum spoke about the process of building that chemistry this season on the most recent “Draymond Green” podcast, where the St. Louis native and the Golden State Warriors forward spoke about the Celtics’ mid-season transformation and the connections that make it possible.
