Sideline reporter Jamie Erdahl brought out a milkshake for the interview after Marquette's March Madness win. Shaka Smart had her drink it and she loved it.
Shaka Smart's milkshake tradition is following the Marquette men's basketball team into March Madness.
And now everyone wants to get in on the fun.
While interviewing Smart and star point guard Kam Jones after the Golden Eagles' 78-61 win over Vermont in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, CBS Sports sideline reporter Jamie Erdahl brought out a milkshake for the victors.
When she asked who wanted it, Smart said the team's milkshakes were waiting for them at the hotel. Then the second-year coach told her that milkshake was all hers.
"On national TV, I want you to take a sip," Smart told her.
Erdahl wasn't about to turn it down.
"You don't have to tell me twice, coach," Erdahl said with the straw already in her mouth.
Jones was cheering her on as the broadcast stayed on the trio.
"It tastes like victory," she told them.
"That's victory, baby," a jubilant Smart told her, as he and Jones joyfully walked off the court arm-in-arm.
"This is awesome," Erdahl proclaimed as she drank more of her milkshake.

Kam Jones had a milkshake worthy game against Vermont
Jones will deserve plenty of milkshakes for his performance on Friday.
He scored 18 straight points for Marquette in a five-minute span in the second half to help the Golden Eagles take control of the game. Before Jones' individual run Marquette was in an offensive funk and had just a five-point lead with 14 minutes, 19 seconds left. When it ended, the Golden Eagles had a 17-point lead at the 9:48 mark.
Toward the end of the game, the broadcast highlighted Smart's milkshake road victory tradition, something that the coach started when he was at VCU. And Erdahl was ready for the post-game moment as she was seen loading the milkshake with whipped cream from her seat.
Second-seeded Marquette, who won an NCAA Tournament game for the first time since 2013, next plays seventh-seeded Michigan State Sunday in the second round.
That round of milkshakes will taste pretty sweet if they can advance to the Sweet 16.
