CBS Sports released its bowl projections for LSU after Week 2

Jerry Palm from CBS Sports has released his updated bowl projections after Week 2. After Alabama’s loss at home to Texas, the Longhorns replaced it in the College Football Playoff. The Longhorns are projected to square off against the Michigan Wolverines in the Rose Bowl.

The LSU Tigers are projected to play in a New Year’s Six bowl against an interesting opponent, the USC Trojans. The Trojans are led by former Oklahoma Sooners head coach, Lincoln Riley and by the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Caleb Williams.

The Trojans are off to a 3-0 start to the 2023 season and none of their games have even been close. They have been an offensive juggernaut as they have scored 56, 66, and 56 points in those games.

It’s hard to get a read on how good they are but we will get a look at USC against Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes in two weeks in Boulder.
