CB Byron Murphy, DeAndre Hopkins are DNPs in Cardinals’ 1st injury report

The Arizona Cardinals already had begun the week of practice on Wednesday coming off the bye. However, as they play on Monday night, the first injury report of the week did not come out until Thursday.

On the Cardinals’ first report of the week, seven players were listed with four unable to participate.

OL Rashaad Coward (chest), WR DeAndre Hopkins (illness), WR Rondale Moore (groin), CB Byron Murphy (back)

Murphy was able to get some work in on Wednesday and coach Kliff Kingsbury said he was day-to-day. He made it sound like Coward probably would not be able to play this week, meaning Cody Ford would go back into the starting lineup.

We will see on Hopkins and Moore.

DL Trysten Hill (hamstring), S Charles Washington (chest)

Washington is making progress and Hill’s injury is new.

Full participation

WR Greg Dortch (thumb)

It looks like, unless there is a setback, he should be back in the lineup Monday.
