FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Luke Beaudrie, Jefferson: Ran for 288 yards and three touchdowns, completed 7-of-10 passes for 83 yards.
Hunter DeBarr, Whiteford: Ran for a touchdown, kicked 2 field goals, including a school-record 38 yarder, and booted a PAT.
Ian Foster, SMCC: Ran for 72 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries, completed 2-of-4 passes for 38 yards and the game-winning touchdown.
William Gaskell V, Milan: Ran for 132 yards and a touchdown, completed 4-of-7 passes for 114 yards and 2 TDs, returned a fumble for a touchdown.
Graham Junge, Flat Rock: Completed 20-of-27 passes for 276 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Aiden Newton, Monroe: Completed 5-of-13 passes for 96 yards and ran for a touchdown.
Cooper Nye, Airport: Threw for 212 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Austin O’Dell, Huron: 18 carries for 126 yards and made a 35-yard reception.
Hunter Poignon, Bedford: Ran for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Dean Thomas, Ida: Ran for 152 yards and a touchdown in win over Dundee.
Braiden Whitaker, Dundee: Caught 4 passes for 61 yards and a touchdown and intercepted a pass against Ida.
Izaiah Wright, Carlson: Ran for 209 yards and 4 touchdowns.
ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Sophie Bucki, Airport golf: Shot 177 to place 48th in Division 2 state finals.
Jessica Costlow, SMCC volleyball: Racked up 33 kills and 27 digs in two victories.
Victoria Gray, Bedford volleyball: Notched 13 kills and 16 digs against Ann Arbor Skyline and 47 kills, 29 digs and 11 blocks in Southeastern Conference Tournament.
Mia Karl, Ida volleyball: Logged 12 kills in win over Dundee and 7 in victory over Monroe.
Nora Kinsey, SMCC golf: Shot 190 in state finals to help Kestrels place 10th in Division 4 state finals.
Kiera Luhrs, Milan swimming: Won butterfly and individual medley to spark a win over Riverview that kept the Big Reds unbeaten in the Huron League for 24 consecutive seasons.
Keegan Masters, Whiteford cross country: Won Tri-County Conference; ran personal-best 15:34.3 to win Airport Haunted Harvest Invitational.
Jenna Pilachowski, Jefferson cross country: Won Huron League meet in personal-best 18:33.0 to help Bears take title.
Isaak Rubley, Dundee cross country: Took second in Lenawee County Athletic Association championships.
Jada Sipert, Erie Mason volleyball: Recorded 10 kills and blocked well in a win over Grosse Ile.
Bailey Spradling, Whiteford volleyball: Collected 12 kills and 12 digs in win over Britton Deerfield.
Austin Sulier, Erie Mason cross country: Took second individually to lead his team to the Tri-County Conference championship.
