Cardinals injury report: QB Kyler Murray among 4 players ruled out vs. Seahawks

Quarterback Kyler Murray’s first game back from his knee injury will not be this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks. The Arizona Cardinals released their final injury report of the week and Murray was one of four players ruled out. He will not be activated from the PUP reserve this weekend.

In all, four players were ruled for the Cardinals all of whom would start or play significant snaps.

Another six are officially questionable for the game.

The details of the Cardinals’ final injury report of Week 7 are below.

Ruled out

CB Antonio Hamilton (groin), QB Kyler Murray (knee), S Jalen Thompson (hamstring), OL Elijah Wilkinson

Neither Hamilton nor Thompson practiced all week and that makes the Cardinals’ plan defending the slot a big question mark. Thompson is the team’s starting slot defender and Hamilton replaced him.

Murray was limited all week but will not be activated. Wilkinson suffered a neck injury between Wednesday and Thursday. He did not practice the final two days, meaning Dennis Daley will likely get the start at left guard.

It will be the first game missed by a starting offensive lineman this season.

Questionable

S Budda Baker (hamstring), CB Kei’Trel Clark (hamstring), WR Zach Pascal (neck), DL Kevin Strong (calf), CB Garrett Williams (knee), LB Josh Woods (back)

Pascal did not practice all week. Strong was limited on Thursday and Friday. Woods was a new addition on Friday, getting limited reps. Baker, Clark and Williams were limited all week.

Baker is considered a game-day decision, although we will know on Saturday whether the plan is for him to play. He will have to be activated from injured reserve to be able to play.

No game designation

OL Kelvin Beachum (hand), LB Zaven Collins (illness), DL Jonathan Ledbetter (finger)

Beachum and Ledbetter were full participants in practice all week. Collins got sick on Friday and sat out but is expected to play.
