CAPE SPORTS ROUNDUP: Zlata Alioshka's 15 aces lead St. John Paul II Volleyball to sweep

At the end of five sets against Old Rochester the Bourne team celebrates their victory.

Setter Zlata Alioshka had a double-double to lead the St. John Paul II girls volleyball team to the sweep over Rising Tide (25-15, 25-22, 25-11).

Of course, one category she reached double digits in was assists, as the sophomore finished with 14 assists to help keep her team's offense moving. It was the other category of the double-double that really stands out. Alioshka finished the day with 15 aces, accounting for 60% of one set's worth of points strictly from the service line.

Beyond Alioshka, Charlotte Sturgis had seven kills and two aces, Rosanna Sullivan had 14 digs to go with three aces, and three kills. The win takes the Lions record to 10-2.
