Candidates for Week 8 Register-Herald Athlete of the Week

Oct. 16—Here are the candidates for The Register-Herald Athlete of the Week (in alphabetical order):

Jack Billeter, Shady Spring boys soccer. Billeter had seven saves in a key sectional victory, 2-0 over PikeView.

Gavin Davis, Shady Spring football. Davis ran 21 times for 231 yards and what is believed to be a school-record six touchdowns in Shady Spring's 68-7 win over Wyoming East.

Coby Dillon, Woodrow Wilson boys soccer. Dillon scored two goals each in 3-0 wins over Huntington and South Charleston.

Brandan Isaac, Summers County football. Isaac threw for 230 yards and four touchdowns and ran for two in Summers County's 67-0 win over Meadow Bridge.

Tyler Linksweiler, Independence football. Linksweiler ran 18 times for 124 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-0 win over Man.

Alexis Stack, Greenbrier East volleyball. Stack had 4 aces, 19 kills, 16 serves received and 20 digs in victories over Oak Hill (2-0) and Princeton (2-1).

Nate Suttle, Greenbrier East football. Suttle ran 15 times for 121 yards and three touchdowns and returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown in Greenbrier East's 39-23 win over Ripley.

Camille Testerman, Shady Spring volleyball. Testerman had seven kills, six digs and five serves received in a 25-8, 25-12 win over Independence.

Cole Vandall, Greenbrier West football. Vandall completed 16 of 22 passes for 318 yards and three touchdowns and had a 17-yard rushing touchdown in Greenbrier West's 41-0 win over Petersburg.
