Bulls guard Patrick Beverley has been ‘real happy’ in Chicago

The Chicago Bulls have a new leader in the locker room in no other than Patrick Beverley.

The Bulls signed the veteran guard once he was waived by the Orlando Magic following his trade from the Los Angeles Lakers at the trade deadline.

Beverley, a Chicago native, voiced his happiness with being back home on Tuesday’s episode of his podcast, The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone.

“That right there. That s— was fire right there,” Beverley said on his podcast. “The energy with the Bulls has been refreshing and satisfying … natural.”

In eight games with the Bulls, Beverley is averaging 5.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 29 minutes per game.

“Man, Chicago has been a vibe. The team, the organization, the coaching staff, I mean everything has been a vibe. I’ve been real happy.”
