Bryce Young left hanging by young fan at ‘Back Together’ Saturday

You’ll be hard-pressed to locate a human over in Spartanburg, S.C. who isn’t impressed by Bryce Young. But we may have just found a little human who fits that rare description.

As part of the NFL’s “Back Together Weekend,” Panthers players were accompanied to the practice field for their third outing of training camp by a few lucky kids. And Young, who’s been the featured star of the summer workouts at Wofford College, took his stroll into Gibbs Stadium with a small fella named Micah.

After the walk in, Young signed the young fan’s Young jersey. Then, when the rookie quarterback went for a fist bump, Micah adorably left the 2023 No. 1 overall pick hanging.

Luckily for Bryce, he was cool under pressure—as he often is. While the self-bump certainly wasn’t the desired outcome, it was better than no bump at all.

Plus, the exploding fists finish was a pretty good touch.
