Browns tight, white uniforms get raves from fans and former cornerback Joe Haden

One reason many fans will tune in to the beginning of “Monday Night Football?” No, it's not just the game between the Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.

Nor is it just a new theme song from Chris Stapleton and legendary rapper Snoop Dogg with Cindy Blackman Santana laying down the thunderous beats of Phil Collins’ classic “In the Air Tonight."

For Browns fans, there was something else to look forward — the new uniforms.

Browns fans aren't exactly known for being objective when it comes to their team. Needless to say the unis were greeted with enthusiasm:

Of course, some folks just couldn't resist adding their fashion sensibilities to what the Browns had going on with the new uniforms.

None, however, were more effusive than former NFL cornerback Joe Haden. There may be no better person to ask about the Browns-Steelers rivalry than Cleveland's former first-round draft pick from 2010 (seventh overall). Haden spent the first seven years of his 12-year career with the Browns and the final five in Pittsburgh. No one, however, would ever surmise that from the praise he heaped upon the team's Monday night look, during the "Monday Night Kickoff" pregame show on WEWS (Channel 5).

"I’m loving the all-white uniform. The helmet. They just look clean. Clean. They look and they’re about to go out here and do work," he said. "And I’m loving the phrase too [like] Deion [Sanders] – look good, feel good, play good. They play good with all of that."
