Browns DE Myles Garrett ‘felt something pop’ in his shoulder vs. Broncos

The Cleveland Browns, already decimated by injuries this season, may have to add their best player to the list. Needing to sling his shoulder after Cleveland’s disappointing loss to the Denver Broncos, defensive end Myles Garrett spoke to the media and stated that he “felt something pop” in his shoulder (via Cleveland dot com’s Mary Kay Cabot).

Right tackle Jack Conklin, running back Nick Chubb, quarterback Deshaun Watson, left tackle Jedrick Wills, safety Rodney McLeod, cornerback Denzel Ward. This is where the list currently stands for the Browns as they fight through significant injuries to crucial players on this roster. There is not a team in the NFL that has had to overcome more than Cleveland this season.

If Garrett cannot go next week against the Los Angeles Rams, Ogbo Okoronkwo will get the start opposite of Za’Darius Smith. Alex Wright will continue to get a heavy workload, and we will likely see rookie Isaiah McGuire get his second action of the season.

All hypothetical at this point, however, as we can hope Garrett finds his way onto the field next week.
