'Brother still needs help': Suns' Jusuf Nurkic, Warriors' Draymond Green continue beef

The beef continues between Phoenix Suns big Jusuf Nurkic and Warriors forward Draymond Green.

Nurkic quoted a tweet about Green saying the Suns don't have a big man and Kevin Durant was their big man with "that brother still needs help."

Green made his comments on TNT's Inside the NBA as he was a guest on the show Monday.

The 7-footer Nurkic was the starting big for the Suns in his first season in Phoenix.

This harkens memories of what Nurkic said about Green after being hit in the face by the Warriors forward during a Dec. 12 game that led to an ejection and indefinite suspension that lasted 12 games.

“What's going on with him? I don't know," Nurkić said after the Dec. 12 game in Phoenix the Suns won. "That brother needs help. I'm glad he didn't try and choke me. But at the same time, it had nothing to do with basketball. I’m just out there trying to play basketball and they’re swinging. Hopefully whatever he got in his life, get better.”

In Tuesday's tweet, Nurkic also wrote, "STILL 😢 ABOUT KD, he don’t like #drayover" that ended with a laughing/crying emoji. Green and Durant were teammates in Golden State, winning back-to-back titles.

Nurkic and Green have been going back and forth on the court and off the court through social media.

The two had multiple exchanges the next time they faced each other on Feb. 10 in San Francisco, in which Green got the better of Nurkic in helping the Warriors top the Suns.

After that game, Nurkic, who had previously said after the suspension announcement that he respected Green and views him as a future Hall of Famer, was critical of Green.

"It's sad,” Nurkic said after the game. “He didn't learn anything, man. Just a matter of time. He's going to knock somebody else again. Take everything back what I said. He don't deserve a chance."
