Breaking: Former Kansas OT Ar’maj Reed-Adams will transfer to Texas A&M
Texas A&M and head coach Mike Elko made another key addition to the 2024 offense line on Sunday morning, as former Kansas starting offensive tackle Ar’maj Reed-Adams announced his intentions to transfer to the program.
Reed-Adams, who stands at 6’5″ and 330 pounds, brings a wealth of experience to the table, starting at right tackle for the Jayhawks during the 2023 season, and has two seasons of eligibility remaining. Physically imposing in the trenches, Reed-Adams was a key member of a Kansas O-line, as the unit allowed only 16 sacks during the year.
After entering the portal on Dec. 31, Reed-Adams was reportedly down to Tennesee and A&M, knowing that under new offensive line coach Adam Cushing, his development could continue, hopefully finishing his collegiate career in College Station.

Reed-Adams joins former Troy offensive tackle Derrick Graham, as Elko knows that the Aggies’ 2023 depth issues at both tackle positions proved to be a consistent issue that hindered any consistent offensive production. With Reed-Adams’ commitment, A&M has secured 16 portal commitments thus far.
