Four-star ATH Courtney Crutchfield commits to Arkansas

Arkansas football just added another big-time commitment for the 2024 recruiting class. Four-star athlete Courtney Crutchfield announced that he was committing to the Razorbacks in a ceremony at Mills High School in Little Rock.

Crutchfield, a Pine Bluff native, chose the Razorbacks over LSU, Oklahoma, Auburn, Iowa State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others.

The 6-2, 175-pound two-way athlete played both sides of the ball for Pine Bluff last year. At wide receiver, he recorded 17 catches for 517 yards and nine touchdowns. As a defensive back, he recorded 30 tackles, three tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and an interception.

Crutchfield is the third 2024 recruit to announce his commitment to the Razorbacks on Friday. He joins Jaden Allen, who committed in the morning, and Charleston Collins, who committed just minutes before Crutchfield.

With the addition of Crutchfield, Arkansas now has eight pledges for the 2024 recruiting class and seven of them are rated as four-star prospects by at least one major recruiting outlet.

Sam Pittman and his staff are putting together a stellar class that could have the potential to be Arkansas’ highest-rated in the recruiting rankings era.
