Somehow, Guardians center fielder Tyler Freeman was able to hang onto the ball. And, somehow, both he and Guardians shortstop Brayan Rocchio walked away just fine.

Rocchio and Freeman both broke for a ball hit into shallow center field Tuesday night and were involved in a scary collision when they barreled into each other without slowing down too much.

Freeman made the catch, but the two were both obviously a bit shaken up, though manager Stephen Vogt told reporters in Arlington, Texas, that both were fine.

Rocchio told reporters in Arlington, Texas, the crowd noise played a part in him not hearing that Freeman had called for it.
