Braves' Freeman leaves game with wrist injury

Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman left Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies after he was hit on the left wrist by a Hoby Milner fastball in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Freeman, 28, missed seven weeks last season after Aaron Loup of the Toronto Blue Jays hit him on the same wrist with a pitch.

Freeman, who was replaced by Charlie Culberson, went 1-for-3 in the game. He's batting .288 with two home runs and 12 RBIs this season.

Freeman, who is in his ninth season in the majors, is a career .290 hitter with 168 homers and 598 RBIs in 1,043 games.
