Boys and girls soccer, field hockey and girls volleyball were on tap

BOYS SOCCER

Division II

Burrillville 2, West Warwick 2

Michael Strain and Ethan Pereira each scored goals for the Wizards only to have the Broncos' Guilherme Santos and Ethan Withington match their scores and the D-II game ended in a tie. The playoff-bound Wizards are now 7-3-3, while the Broncos fall to 2-9-2.

GIRLS SOCCER

Division III

Cranston East 1, Toll Gate 1

The Titans and Thunderbolts played to a draw in their next-to-last regular season contest. Toll Gate's Adeline Areson scored an unassisted goal, while Natalie Urizar scored with an assist by Victoria Acevedo for West.  Isabella Dupret made 18 saves for the 'Bolts (1-7-3), and Alanna Pereira had 3 saves for TG (8-1-2).

Westerly 2, Tiverton 0

The Bulldogs' Eva Intrieri and Ocean Lombard both scored for Westerly, and Nora Zerbarini recorded a pair of assists. The win pushes Westerly to 10-0 with one game left on the regular-season schedule.

Division IV

Rogers 5, Times 2 co-op 0

Fallon Bagley led the Vikings with a pair of goals, and teammates Julia Connelly, Michelle Crowley and Makayla O'Loughlin each found the back of the net as well. Assists came from Laura Hoag, Amelia Wallace, Catalina Schroder and Crowley. For Times2,  goalie Sorenity Seauoukseng made 24 saves in the loss. Rogers improves to 9-2-2; Times2 slips to 2-10-1.

FIELD HOCKEY

Division I

Moses Brown 5, La Salle 0

The Quakers finished the regular season in first place with a 13-1 record by shutting out La Salle. Kat Gauvin led the way with 2 goals and an assist and three other Moses Brown players — Izzy Cummings, Ashley Brousseau and Paige Moreau — added a goal apiece; Maddie Powell chipped in with a helper. MB goaltender Ava Porter needed to make only 3 saves for the shutout. The Rams finished the regular season at 9-5-0.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Division I

Mount St. Charles 3, Cranston East 0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-9)

The Mounties were led by Sophia Baeta with 12 digs and 2 aces, Mazie Phillips had 5 aces and Emma Roberts recorded 8 kills and 2 blocks. For the Thunderbolts, Amelia Catrambone had 13 digs and Ashley Taveras had 7 digs and 2 aces.

Portsmouth 3, West Warwick 0 (25-17, 25-12, 26-16)

Addie Crisfield's 9 kills, 2 aces and 1 block and Sophia Champagne's 4 aces, 1 kill, 8 digs and 14 assists paved the way for the Patriots' win over the Wizards. Despite the loss, West Warwick's Liz Gresham (7 kills), Shana Correa (4 aces, 3 kills, 2 digs) and Olivia Zadjek (12 digs) all performed admirably.

Division II

Middletown 3, St. Raphael 0 (27-25, 25-17, 25-13)

Caitlin Callaghan swung for 9 aces and Aiden Reily had 3 aces and 7 kills as the Islanders fought off a stubborn Saints team to improve 13-3.  St. Rays dropped to 2-12 but got strong performances from Morgan Fontaine, who had 11 digs, and Sadie Lallier, who had 6 digs and 4 kills.

EWG 3, Pilgrim 0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-15)

Ten aces and 7 kills by Erin Tierney and 11 assists by Madison Andrade propelled the Scarlet Knights to a sweep of the Patriots. Sophia Schmitt finished with 4 aces and 5 digs and Kayli Sherlock had 8 kills for Pilgrim, now 3-11. EWG is 5-9.

Johnston 3, Rogers 2 (25-7, 24-26, 25-23, 13-25, 15-8)

Division III

Narraganset 3, Central Falls 1 (25-14, 19-25, 25-22, 25-18)

The play of Clare Oberheu (10 kills, 11 digs) and Mackenzie Gallagher (12 digs, 1 kill, 8 assists) helped Narragansett upend Central Falls, punching the Mariners' ticket to the D-III playoffs.

Division IV

Mount Pleasant 3, Achievement First 0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-7)

Kilties senior Nicole Susana led the way with 8 kills. The win lifts Mount Pleasant to 10-5 on the season with one match left on its regular-season schedule.
