Boys and girls lacrosse scores and schedule for New York state championship weekend
Section V swept the state quarterfinal round in boys and girls lacrosse. Then smoke from Canada's wildfires swept through New York and postponed some of the semifinals.
That created eight games involving Section V teams on Friday at SUNY Cortland, Cortland High School and Tompkins Cortland Community College.
Things can be harder to keep track of than figuring out how many Section V players were in the NCAA Final Four. (Answer: 32.)
