BNC, NUIC stat leaders and standings after Week 5 of high school football

The IHSA football season is now past the halfway mark of the regular season, and there have been plenty of highlight-reel plays by star players, week in and week out.

There are a couple of stars who are stepping up in the area, especially when it comes to the Big Northern Conference and NUIC.

Through the first five weeks of action, here are the BNC and NUIC standings, this week's game schedule, and the rushing, passing and receiving leaders.
