Jens Lehmann urinates during Champions League match

Stuttgart goalkeeper Jens Lehmann found himself in a tough spot during tonight's Champions League match against Unirea Urziceni. There he was -- in the middle of a match to decide which team would advance to the knockout stage -- when all of the sudden he needed to use the bathroom. Like, really really bad.

Instead of trying to wait for a stoppage in play or playing it cool and just wetting his pants, 40-year-old Jens ran behind his goal, ducked against the advertising board and quickly did his business while play continued, managing to get back in front of his goal just as Urziceni mounted an attack. Stuttgart would go on to win 3-1 and Lehmann was then free to do his business at his leisure.

That had to sting for Urziceni. Not only did they lose convincingly and get eliminated from the Champions League, but they did so to team whose goalkeeper was so underworked that he could take pee breaks during the match. Ouch.

After the game, reporters asked Lehmann why he had to go so bad and he said that he was "as nervous as ever before." Apparently he wasn't nervous enough to not be able to relieve himself in front of 40,000 people, though.
