Cristiano Ronaldo has a magic mouthpiece that makes him stronger

Like he needed even more of an advantage, Cristiano Ronaldo is now wearing a special mouthpiece designed to improve balance, strength, and overall performance. The Japanese-designed retainer-looking "secret weapon", as Marca calls it, sells for about €100 and is also used by Tiger Woods (it's unclear whether he uses it for golf or hooking up with pornstars).

Ronaldo wore it during the Madrid derby last weekend and went goalless for just the third time in his last 11 games. Also casting doubt on the effectiveness of this performance-enhancing mouthpiece is the fact that he looked like this during the game...

Apparently it doesn't prevent you from appearing to be on the verge of tears. That must cost extra.
