This Teemu Selanne Mighty Ducks wax figure is both awesome and terrifying (Photo)
Teemu Selanne has a Stanley Cup ring, a bunch of silver and bronze medals from the Olympics and World Championships, a Calder Trophy, a Richard Trophy, a Masterton and many other honors to show from his decorated hockey career.
Has he ever had a wax figure created in his honor? Well, he has at least one, which is located in the wax museum at Finland’s Visulahti Travel Center, a resort about 230 km from Selanne’s birthplace of Helsinki.
Among the waxed up celebrities and political figures is the Finnish Flash donning an Anaheim Mighty Ducks (!) jersey:
On Thursday, Finnish radio host Juha Valvio Tweeted a picture of the figure to Selanne, who joked his 7-year old daughter, Veera, could create one better. He's probably right. Why does wax Teemu have two different colored hands? And did he lather up his face with some butter like Kramer from Seinfeld?
