Bills’ Matt Milano not fined for Week 3 hit vs. Dolphins
Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano is not going to be fined for his Week 3 hit on Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Tagovailoa remains in headlines this week as he again appeared to suffer a concussion for a second-straight game.
The first came against Buffalo when Milano pushed Tagovailoa during a pass attempt just before halftime in Week 3.
While Milano was flagged for roughing the passer as Tagovailoa was shoved and appeared to hit his head on the ground, Milano is not being fined. That, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Tagovailoa did exit the contest briefly because of the hit but later returned.
Following Tagovailoa’s second concussion, the NFLPA fired the independent doctor that was part of the evaluation team. First listed as a head injury, Tagovailoa returned as it said he suffered a back injury and the QB played in the second half against the Bills and in Miami’s ensuing game where he was hurt again.
It’s unclear if the team physician has suffered any consequences.
