Highlights: Dylan Slack threw TD passes of 52 and 15 yards to Ryland Bradford and Jackson Howle, respectively, as the Eagles roared to a 14-0 start Friday night at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa.

Bryce Neves’ interception set up Rashaw’s first TD, a 3-yard run, while Slack ran 1 yard for a TD and threw a 31-yard pass to Rashaw for another as the Eagles rolled to 35-0 halftime lead.

Brelon Badon caught a 32-yard TD pass from Slack in the second half, and Brayden Henry added a 70-yard TD run as AHS amassed 453 yards on offense.

Highlights: Gray Beasley threw TDs of 65 and 21 yards to Jackson Crane and Gavin Brooks, and ran for another as Jim Ned snapped the Class 2A Division I defending champion Bearcats’ 27-game regular-season win streak.

Bangs was the last team to beat the two-time state finalists in the regular season — winning 39-15 on Sept. 25, 2020, in Bangs.

Cooper: Daniel Bray 14-58 yards 1TD rushing; Zavian Alexander 3-50 receiving; Christian Rico kickoff return for 75 yards.

Highlights: Beckham Robinson threw for 151 yards and three touchdowns, including an 81-yarder to Will Adams, as Keller rolled to a 24-7 halftime lead at the Keller ISD Athletic Complex. Daniel Bray and Troneal Robinson had TD runs of 1 and 6 yards, respectively, for Cooper. Gabriel Ogura's 46-yard field goal on the final play of the first quarter gave Keller a 10-7 lead it wouldn't relinquish.

Highlights: Vega had TD runs of 1, 69 and 49 yards, while Duran threw a 20-yard TD pass to Quinton Pryor and ran for another as Stamford won big in Wayne Hutchinson’s return as the team’s head coach.

Hutchinson led the Bulldogs to three consecutive state title game appearances from 2011-13, winning the last two, before spending eight seasons at Class 5A Lubbock Monterey and retiring for a year.

The Bulldogs outgained Hamlin 417-110 in Jason Botos’ debut as the Pied Pipers coach.

But Loyd threw his third TD pass before halftime, and Seymour outscored the Tigers 19-0 in the second half.
