The Oklahoman's boys spring athletes of the week poll for April 8-14 presented by Landmark Fine Homes is now live at oklahoman.com.

Voting is open until noon Sunday.

The winner of last week’s poll was Jonathan Eichman of Westmoore tennis.

Here are this week’s nominees in baseball, golf, soccer, tennis and track.

Boys athletes of the week

Ryan Jackson, Sr., Norman North track: He won the 110-meter hurdles (14.76 seconds) and 300 hurdles (40.23) in the large school division at the Oklahoma Baptist University Bison Invitational on Tuesday.

Declan Murphy, Jr., Carl Albert baseball: In an 11-0 rout of El Reno, Murphy dominated on the mound. He tallied 13 strikeouts while allowing no hits, runs or walks through six innings. He also posted a .571 batting average with a .583 on-base percentage during the past week.

Alex Peterson, Sr., Harrah tennis: He won the No. 1 singles title at the Seminole Boys Invitational on Tuesday.

Jose Romero, Jr., Southeast soccer: Romero netted the goal that propelled Southeast past district foe Carl Albert, 3-2. With 1:50 left, as the Spartans were shorthanded with 10 players, he scored off an assist from Khua Thang. Romero also had a goal in Southeast’s 5-2 win over Western Heights.

Kevin Trillo, Jr., Hennessey golf: Trillo carded a 2-over 72 to win the Dover Invitational by three strokes at Kingfisher Golf Course. Then he shot an 83 for fourth place at the Hennessey Eagle Golf Tournament, where his team placed first.
