Who was the best Oklahoma high school boys athlete last week? Your votes decide

The Oklahoman's boys spring athletes of the week poll for April 1-7 presented by Landmark Fine Homes is now live at oklahoman.com.

Voting is open until noon Sunday.

The winner of last week’s poll was Xai’den Easter of Classen SAS soccer.

Here are this week’s nominees in baseball, golf, soccer, tennis and track.

Boys athletes of the week

Jonathan Eichman, Sr., Westmoore tennis: He won the No. 1 singles title at Mustang’s tournament Tuesday as he helped Westmoore place second in the team standings. And on Friday, Eichman claimed the No. 2 singles crown at Yukon’s tournament as Westmore won the team title.

Grant Gudgel, Sr., Stillwater golf: Gudgel carded a 5-under 66 to win the individual title at the Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference Invitational. The Oklahoma State signee led Stillwater to finish second as a team.

Elyjah McKissick, So., Choctaw track: He won the 100-meter dash (10.91 seconds) and placed second in the 200 (22.31) at the Bixby Spartan Invitational on Thursday.

Marlon Moore, Sr., Washington baseball: Moore has showcased so far why he’s one of the top players in the OKC metro this season. On Wednesday, the Cowley signee’s presence on the mound led the Warriors to a shut-out district win over Comanche. Moore has a 5-0 pitching record while striking out 31 batters and is also hitting .507 with eight home runs and 38 RBIs.

Christian Otero, Sr., Putnam North soccer: Otero scored from a set piece to lift Putnam North to a 2-0 district victory against Owasso. It was the Panthers’ sixth shutout of the season.
