Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson ranks amongst NFL’s elite in pressure rates

A week ago, Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson played through a back injury that had him listed as questionable at all for the game.

And he dominated.

As Bengals fans have come to expect, that’s par for the course for Hendrickson, one of the league’s most efficient — but underrated — pass-rushers.

Case in point, through five games, Hendrickson is one of just 10 players in the NFL with a pass-rush win rate north of 20 percent, as captured in chart format by PFF’s Sam Monson.

That puts Hendrickson alongside names like Myles Garrett, Nick Bosa and Micah Parsons, though he’s not usually on the same level from an attention standpoint nationally.

Making the showing so far this season all the more impressive is just how poor the rest of Bengals pass-rushers have been at pressuring pockets. If the likes of Sam Hubbard, Joseph Ossai and even first-rounder Myles Murphy can provide more, Hendrickson might manage to climb even higher on a list like this:
