Did Ben Watson announce his wife's expecting twins with TD celebration?

Ben Watson is still making plays at 37 years old.

It appears he’s still making babies too.

Watson’s score doubles up Rams early

The New Orleans Saints tight end caught a touchdown pass from Drew Brees in the second quarter Sunday in a 45-35 victory against the Los Angeles Rams.

It was the 44th touchdown catch of his 14-year NFL career.

He celebrated the score by putting the ball under his jersey, appearing to mimic a pregnant belly.

Twins for the Watsons?

He then flashed five fingers in the air with his left hand. He and his wife Kristen have five children together.

After pausing, he counted out two more fingers with his right hand. So … Kristen’s expecting twins?

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers is on notice. Rivers and his wife Tiffany have eight children together and plan to have more.

But if the Watsons are making babies two at a time, which Watson confirmed is the case after the game, they’re making up ground in fast order.

Watson’s announced new arrival like this before

The football fetus is a celebration Watson’s used before and one that garnered a $10,000 fine from the NFL when he announced Kristen’s pregnancy in 2008 back when the league frowned upon touchdown jubilation.

He’s likely safe in the current pro-celebration climate of the NFL.

Either way, congrats to Watson on his score and to the Watson family on their new additions.
