Bemidji dominates Fosston/Crookston in strong home dual performance

Sep. 21—BEMIDJI — The Bemidji High School girls swimming and diving teams had winners all around on Thursday.

Facing Fosston/Crookston at the BHS pool, the Lumberjacks dominated their competition, winning the team matchup 118-47.

As would be expected by the lopsided total, the Jacks were chock full of victors. Sadie Borg, Simone Ueland, Ava Lietz and Kylie Donat topped the 200-yard medley relay in 2:15.27. Brooklyn Nielsen won the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:22.25, and Elle Wille clocked the top time of 2:41.83 in the 200 IM.

Elena Harmsen paced the 50 free in 27 seconds flat. Abby Daman took the top spot in the 100 free at 57.86. Wille, Donat, Josie Carter and Lietz combined to win the 200 free relay in 1:54.21.

Daman topped the 100 backstroke in 1:15.08. Ueland claimed the top time in the 100 breaststroke (1:25.68), and Daman, Donat, Jaelyece Jones and Carter led the 400 free relay in 4:12.95.

Bemidji has won back-to-back duals after beating Warroad/Roseau/Greenbush-Middle River

on Tuesday.
