I got the chance to talk to Robert Molnar, the Broncos editing manager at Cover32. Have a look at his answers to my questions below.

1. Trevor Siemian is defying expectations. How did he go from unknown backup to stud?

Robert: Siemian really was the product of patience and perfect timing. He was a solid player in college and worked under Peyton Manning which is a major bonus for any quarterback in this league. While he is far from being a top player in this league, Siemian is strong enough in the area’s Denver needs most right now. Leadership and passing ability.

2. What has been the Broncos main weakness so far?

Robert: To me, the weakness I’ve seen is the decision making on offense. Siemian shows all the signs of a first time starter when it comes to passing the football. He had a rough first half last week and should of thrown three interceptions, one of which would have been a pick six. Playing much better in the second half, the biggest question this week will be which offense will show up for the entire game against Tampa.

3. How can the Bucs possibly attack the Broncos defense?

Robert: Denver has been playing well in the linebacker and defensive line areas. Shane Ray as a replacement for DeMarcus Ware had three sacks last week against Cincinnati! He’s a backup! Getting protection for Winston will be key and if they can get their running game going for some good production, Tampa may be able to draw the eyes of the Denver secondary and beat them threw the air.

4. Key matchup?

Robert: The matchup I’m looking at is Von Miller and Shane Ray against Tampa’s pass protection. If Miller and Ray can get to Winston early and often, it could cause the Bucs’ offense to have a long day at the office. Protecting Winston will be key and if the O-line can do that, it will open plenty of avenues in the passing and running game for the Bucs’ offense.

5. Score prediction?

Robert: Sorry Bucs’ fans but I don’t see your team winning this one. Siemian shows up and does well during this contest. C.J. Anderson adds two touchdowns, leading the Broncos to a 28-17 win over Tampa Bay.
