Badgers men's basketball set to hold Red-White scrimmage Sunday at the Kohl Center

MADISON – Wisconsin fans can get their first look at the men’s basketball team during the annual Red-White scrimmage set for 4 p.m. Sunday at the Kohl Center.

Reporters who cover the Big Ten picked UW to finish fifth this season.

What fans can expect on Sunday:

Admission is free for Red-White scrimmage, though fans must pay to park

Fans do not have to pay to watch the scrimmage and doors to the Kohl Center open at 2:30 p.m. There is no assigned seating.

Parking is available for $10 in UW Lots 46 and 91. Accessible parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in Lots 48 and 87.

Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted at the lot entrances.

Food, beverages available for purchase

Fans can purchase food and beverages from concession stands. New this year is that beer, wine, and pre-packaged alcoholic products (hard seltzers) are available.

UW officials have gifts and a pregame competition planned for fans

Children 12 and under receive a free lunchbox, while supplies last.

The first 500 students to arrive will receive a free Area Red T-shirt. Students who arrive early will also be able to enter to compete in a pregame cornhole tournament.

Prizes for the student cornhole tournament include the chance to travel with the UW team to a road game this season, season tickets and swag bags.

After the scrimmage, students can attend an Area Red rally social hour. Free pizza from Toppers Pizza will be available.
