'Bachelor' star Matt James shows up, cheers for Suni Lee at NCAA Gymnastics Championships

"The Bachelor" star Matt James and Auburn gymnast Suni Lee appeared together on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" in the fall of 2021.

James has attended Lee's gymnastics competitions occasionally during the 2022 season.

He was there again Saturday cheering for Lee and Auburn at the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship finals.

James wore a navy shirt that said "Auburn Dad" in orange letters.

On Saturday morning, James tweeted, "We made it! Let’s handle business @AuburnGym - so proud of y’all! WDE"

Oklahoma won the NCAA women's gymnastics national championship on Saturday. Auburn finished fourth.

During their season of "Dancing with the Stars," James took 12th place with dancer Lindsay Arnold. Suni Lee and partner Sasha Faber came in fifth place.

Prior to appearing on "The Bachelor" in early 2021, James was a college athlete himself. He played football at Wake Forest from 2011-14.
