- Having been stuck in a bit of a logjam in the Wizards rotation, things have cleared up for Deni Avdija in the past week or so. First, there was Kristaps Porzingis suffering a sprained ankle during the January 21 win over the Magic, with the team describing his status as week-to-week. And then the next day, the Wizards traded Rui Hachimura to the Lakers in exchange for Kendrick Nunn and three future second round picks.

Those developments freed up additional minutes for Avdija, whose fantasy outlook is more positive despite the limited production. Rostered in 29% of Yahoo leagues, he's averaging 9.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 0.83 three-pointers in 29.0 minutes during the Wizards four-game win streak. The shooting percentages have left a bit to be desired, but Avdija's all-around skill set makes him a player worth zeroing in on as the trade deadline approaches.
