Austin area high school sports: the top performers of the week from three different sports

Here are the top high school athletic performers for the Austin area over the last week.

Boys basketball

Josiah Moseley, Stony Point: Moseley helped the Tigers to the New Braunfels tournament title by averaging 24.5 ppg, including 31 points vs. New Braunfels. Stony Point enters its District 25-6A opener Friday 15-0.

Knox Riemondi, Hyde Park: Exploded for 31 points in a 68-43 win over Eastside.

Hudson Greer, Lake Travis: Poured in 23 points to lead the Cavs to a win over Del Valle.

Ryder Bradley, Leander: Finished with 16 points and four assists as the Lions defeated Taylor 70-38.

Sean Dalberg, Leander: Tallied 16 points and four rebounds to help the Lions to a win over Taylor.

JD Wilson, Leander: Recorded 14 points and five rebounds in the team's victory vs. Taylor.

Mason Cochran, Round Rock: Cochran averaged 12.7 ppg and 4.1 rpg to earn all-tournament honors as the Dragons finished runner-up at the San Antonio Reagan tournament.

Leonard Moore, Round Rock: Moore was voted to the all-tournament team at the San Antonio Reagan tournament after averaging 8.7 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 3.7 apg and 2.3 spg to help the Dragons finish second.

Gavin Paull, Westlake: Paull scored 14 points in Westlake's 57-35 win over Del Valle Friday and 14 points in the Chaps' 70-44 win vs. Anderson.

Jack Seiders, Westlake: Seiders led the Chaps in scoring with 17 points during their 70-44 win over Anderson Tuesday.

Wonder Kahozi, Westlake: Kahozi hit double figures twice in wins over Del Valle and Anderson by tallying 12 points against the Trojans and 11 points vs. the Cardinals.

Jaxson Vandegarde, Johnson: Vandegarde averaged 25 points, four rebounds and three steals as the Jaguars opened district play with wins over Anderson and Dripping Springs. Tuesday, he tallied 17 points in a win over Austin High.

Zeriah Kincaid, Johnson: Averaged 15 ppg in the Jaguars' wins over Anderson and Dripping Springs.

Jack Untermeyer, Johnson: Tallied 12 points, four rebounds and two assists during the Jaguars' win over Austin High.

Myles Fernandez, Johnson: Sank 12 points in the team's District 26-6A win over Austin High.

Junior Goodlet, Stony Point: Helped Stony Point stay perfect on the season and win the New Braunfels tournament by averaging 10.5 ppg over four games.

Robert Conrad, Cedar Creek: Poured in 30 points in a loss to Burnet and had 22 points, seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks in a win over Cedar Park.

Uzziah Buntyn, Stony Point: Surpassed 1,000 career points and helped the Tigers win the New Braunfels tournament by averaging 12.2 ppg and 8.1 apg.

Josiah Hollmon, San Marcos: Tallied 20 points in a 74-46 win over Laredo LBJ.

Zyair Jolivette, San Marcos: Helped the Rattlers to a 74-46 win vs. Laredo LBJ with 19 points.

Bo Ogden, St. Michael's: Tallied 22 points in a win over The Woodlands Christian and 13 points during a victory over St. Andrew's.

Aiden Disu, St. Michael's: Scored 17 points vs. St. Andrew's and 12 points vs. The Woodlands Christian as the Crusaders moved to 17-0 on the season.

Jake Broxterman, St. Michael's: Sank 14 points in a 100-55 win over The Woodlands Christian.

Braeden Spinden, Bowie: Scored 14 points in a key District 26-6A win over Austin High.

Bennett Seiler, Bowie: Helped the Bulldogs to a 54-49 win vs. Austin High with 12 points.

Girls basketball

Soma Okolo, Glenn: Poured in an astounding 31 points in a district win over Lehman.

Evie Bruce, Liberty Hill: Finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Panthers to a 51-44 district win over Cedar Park.

Gabby Munday, Liberty Hill: Recorded 15 points to help the Panthers to a win over Cedar Park.

Brooke Hobbs, Johnson City: Scored 16 points as the Eagles defeated Center Point 56-15.

Carly Horton, Johnson City: Helped the Eagles to a win over Center Point with 16 points.

Claire Kolkhorst, Lake Travis: Tallied 15 points in a win vs. Del Valle and finished with 20 points in a victory over Copperas Cove.

Riley Moore, Lake Travis: Sank 13 points to help the Cavs to a win over Del Valle.

Emy Chen, McCallum: Poured in 17 points in a 47-36 win over LASA.

Kyndal Johnson, LASA: Had 12 points during a loss to McCallum.

Carly Gonzales, LASA: Hit double figures with 10 points in a loss to McCallum.

Kenze Wallace, Pflugerville: Scored 12 points to lead the Panthers to a 52-46 win over Cedar Creek.

K’Lyn McFrazier, Pflugerville: Finished with 10 points as Pflugerville defeated Cedar Creek.

Keyaira Limuel Washington, Cedar Creek: Recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds and added eight blocked shots in a 52-46 loss to Pflugerville.  Washington has been nominated for Miss Texas Basketball by Dave Campbell’s Basketball magazine.

Gianna Angiolet, Westlake: Poured in 17 points in a win over Anderson Tuesday.

Bella Hesse, Westlake: Recorded 12 points and six assists to help the Chaps to a win over Anderson.

Devynn Davis, Cedar Ridge: Scored 14 points to lead the Raiders to a 39-35 win over McNeil.

Wynn Thorne, Westlake: Sank 12 points as the Chaps defeated Anderson.

A'Mya Edwards, Hendrickson: Led the Hawks with 17 points in a 58-21 win over Elgin.

Trinity Jackson, Hendrickson: Was one of three Hawks in double figures with 12 points in a victory vs. Elgin.

Jasmine Culpepper, Hendrickson: Had 12 points vs. Elgin to help the Hawks record a district win.

Caria Thomas, McNeil: Led the Mavericks with 15 points in a close loss to Cedar Ridge.

Riley Samples, McNeil: Recorded a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds in a 39-35 loss to Cedar Ridge.

Reese Hoadley, Georgetown: Poured in 37 points and hit nine 3-pointers to lead the Eagles to a 91-24 win over Bastrop.

Bella Dabbs, Georgetown: Had 11 points and eight assists during a win vs. Bastrop.

Cassady Lee, Georgetown: Sank 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help the Eagles defeat Bastrop.

Alex Rague, Leander: Led the Lions with 19 points as they took a 54-39 win over Rouse.

Savannah Barrera, Leander: Finished with 15 points to help the Lions to a victory vs. Rouse.

Hope Edwards, Cedar Park: Tallied 13 points to pace the Timberwolves in a loss to Liberty Hill.

Kianna Wormly, Vista Ridge: Had a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Rangers to a win over Round Rock.

Cadence Williams, Rouse: Scored 20 points to lead Rouse to a 43-32 win over Belton.

Wrestling

Henry Figueroa, Round Rock: Won his weight class at the Johnson tournament and entered the week 10-0.

Brooke McCurley, Round Rock: She is currently 13-0 and just recorded her 100th win.

Annesley Day, Round Rock: Won her weight class at the Johnson tournament.

Football

Elliott Schaper, Westlake: The Chaparral junior had a team-high 17 tackles, including 10 solos in a 23-14 loss to Galena Park North Shore in 6A DI state semifinal.

Cody Stoever, Wimberley: The Texan senior had 472 of his team's 479 total yards and all five touchdowns in a 35-33 loss to Bellville in a 4A DII state semifinal.

Wyatt Williams, Westlake: The Chaparral senior had 13 tackles in the loss to North Shore.

Ben Carter, Liberty Hill: The Panther senior scored on touchdown runs of 74 and 85 yards in a 42-35 loss to Port Neches-Groves in a Class 5A DII state semifinal.
