Sunday’s Buccaneers vs. Titans game featured two of the best Auburn alumni in the league in cornerbacks Jamel Dean and Roger McCreary.

It was Dean who stole the show in this one, helping the Bucs defense hold Will Levis and the Titans offense to just 6 points.

Dean was especially impressive. The 27-year-old was tasked with shadowing star receiver Deandre Hopkins for most of the game, and he held up strong.

The Auburn alum shut down Hopkins, holding him to just 3 receptions for 27 yards on the afternoon.

Dean had fun with reporters after the game, stating how he’s superstitious in his preparation each week.

The Las Vegas Raiders have won two games in a row since firing former head coach Josh McDaniels.

They defeated the New York Jets on Sunday Night in large part to the boot of former Auburn placekicker Daniel Carlson.

Carlson connected on all three of his field goal attempts in the 16-12 win, including this 54-yard attempt that had a 45% make percentage according to Next Gen Stats.

The final rendition of the 2023 NFL International Series was a snooze-fest, but former Auburn lineman Braden Smith did help his Colts get the victory.

Indianapolis ran for just 70 yards in the game, but Smith and the offensive line kept quarterback Gardner Minshew upright all game long against a good New England Patriots defense.

It was just the second time this season Minshew wasn’t sacked, and the first time since Week 4.

The Seattle Seahawks were considered a top-team in the NFC before their blowout loss in Baltimore last week.

Seattle returned home this week to host the Washington Commanders. They bounced back with a 26-23 win.

Linebacker Derick Hall was a major part of the defense, accumulating 3 total tackles in the win.

Hall’s playing time has increased each week, and he’ll hope to get his first career sack when the Seahawks take on the Rams in Week 11.
