Auburn basketball vs. Georgia: Live score updates for Tigers in regular-season finale
AUBURN — The marathon is nearly over for Auburn basketball, but it can't afford to slow down in the home stretch.
The Tigers will close the regular season in Neville Arena against Georgia on Saturday, and it's a pivotal game for the home team. A win would secure Auburn a top-four seed in the SEC Tournament, meaning the Tigers wouldn't have to play until the third round.
Auburn last had a double bye in the conference tournament in 2022, led by Jabari Smith Jr. and Walker Kessler. The Tigers have finished in the top four in four of the last six seasons under coach Bruce Pearl.
