The Atomic City Shootout caters to D2 and D3 teams, providing a competitive platform where players can showcase their skills and camaraderie. With a focus on fostering a positive and inclusive environment, the release stated, the event is not intended for D1 teams, ensuring an equitable playing field for all participants.

One of the standout features of this year's Atomic City Shootout is the inclusion of an "11v11 option for U12 Boys," offering young athletes the opportunity to experience the excitement of competitive play in a dynamic and engaging format, the release stated.

"We love to host the Atomic City Shootout here in Oak Ridge," said Kue Moua, Oak Ridge Soccer Club’s technical director. "Our goal is to provide D2 and D3 teams with a premier platform to compete, grow, and forge lasting memories. With our commitment to excellence and inclusivity, we're confident that this year's event will be nothing short of spectacular."

The Atomic City Shootout offered discounts for participating teams, making it more accessible and affordable for clubs and organizations. To ensure a high-quality experience for all, there will be multiple brackets for each age group that accommodate the level of play and requests of every team.

Fans and spectators can catch the matches for free. The tournament will kick off at 6 p.m. Friday, April 5, on Energy Solutions Field in Oak Ridge.
