Atlanta Falcons vs. Chicago Bears: Predictions, odds, how to watch Sunday's game

After an embarrassing loss to the Carolina Panthers, the Atlanta Falcons bounced back in a big way, taking the Indianapolis Colts to the cleaners in Week 16.

Standout rookie Bijan Robinson was used heavily in the passing game finally, and the Falcons walked away with a 29-10 victory. They are still a game back of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South though. They need to win to keep pace.

Their opponents this week will be the Chicago Bears, who shockingly, still have a route to the playoffs at 6-9. Until they are mathematically eliminated, the Bears have something to play for. Winners of three of their last four, the Bears are playing some of their best football of the season right now and if they want any chance of staying alive, Sunday is a must-win.

Predictions for Falcons vs. Bears:

Sportsbook Wire: Bears (-3)

While the Bears have not been astounding against the spread this year, going a mediocre 7-6-2, it's far better than what Atlanta has done. The Falcons are 5-10 ATS this season and with the Bears playing at home in the midst of their best stretch of football on the season, it's hard to bet against them.

Athlon: Chicago 23, Atlanta 19

Chicago has not been the moneyline favorite much this season. In fact, they've only been the favorite three times, but Athlon points out that the Bears are 2-1 in those three games. The team is pretty healthy for this late in the season. As home favorites with any chance of the playoffs dying with a loss, expect the Bears to come out strong.

Fox Sports: Chicago 23, Atlanta 19

Much like Athlon, Fox Sports likes the Bears as home favorites. The Bears have played two games as favorites with -160 odds or smaller this year and have come out victorious in both. Fox Sports expects that trend to continue this weekend.

BetMGM: Bears ML

BetMGM predicts, "the Bears will win this Week 17 game with 57.8% confidence." However, BetMGM also predicts with 61.1 percent certainty that the Falcons will cover the spread. With such close odds, neither bet feels great, but the moneyline is probably the safest option.
