FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A familiar foe is the latest hurdle for Arkansas softball's postseason journey.
The 12th-seeded Razorbacks (37-17) will meet Arizona (35-16-1) Saturday afternoon on the second day of the NCAA softball Fayetteville Regional. The winner will sit one victory away from securing a spot in next week's super regionals.

Arkansas beat SEMO 3-2 Friday night thanks to a three-run fifth inning and a dominant pitching performance from sophomore Robyn Herron. Arizona erupted for eight runs in the first inning and cruised to a 14-3 win over Villanova earlier in the day.
Saturday will mark the third meeting between Arkansas and Arizona this season, with the teams splitting the previous two matchups at the Bear Down Fiesta in March. Both games were decided by one run.
