Arkansas football receives two commitments, drops one in 2024 class

It’s been a week of give-and-take for Arkansas football recruiting. Within the last three days, the Hogs received two pledges and one decommitment from their 2024 class.

On Wednesday morning, Justin Logan became the 17th commit to join the Razorbacks’ current cycle. Logan is a three-star prospect from Georgia who ranks as the No. 41 linebacker in the country, according to 247sports.com. Logan chose Arkansas over a host of schools, including Missouri and Louisville.

Logan joined Jeremy ‘JuJu’ Cook as the latest addition to Arkansas' class after Cook, a safety from Alabama, announced his pledge on Twitter Monday. According to his social media pages, Cook was on Arkansas’ campus this weekend for the Hogwild Hangout recruiting event. He is a three-star prospect according to 247sports.com, holding offers from Cincinnati and Southern Miss.

But sandwiched in between those two bits of positive news was a decommitment Tuesday from Noreel White, a four-star safety from Mississippi. White was the sixth-highest-ranked commit in Arkansas’ class prior to Tuesday’s announcement. White has scholarship offers from schools across the SEC and ACC, with Ole Miss reportedly the favorite to land his commitment moving forward.

After the flurry of moves, 247sports now ranks Arkansas' 2024 class as the 20th-best in the country and 10th in the SEC.
