Arkansas baseball to host NCAA Tournament regional

Arkansas baseball will once again be hosting an NCAA Tournament regional.

The announcement came Sunday night with the Razorbacks (43-14) selected as one of the top 16 seeds in the upcoming tournament. Arkansas' opponents, official seed and the full bracket will be revealed on the 2024 college baseball tournament selection show, which takes place Monday at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2.

The regional will start Friday and could go through Monday. Details about times, TV designation and tickets will be released later.

This will mark the sixth time in the last seven seasons that the Hogs are regional hosts and the 11th time overall. Arkansas is coming off an 0-2 performance at the SEC Tournament, but the Razorbacks won the SEC West title and went 33-3 inside Baum-Walker Stadium this year.

Arkansas did not make it out of the Fayetteville Regional in 2023, losing a pair of games to TCU.

The NCAA Tournament begins May 31 with the College World Series scheduled to end June 24.
