ASU's Isaiah Jackson lands on ESPN with insane catch. Watch the highlight

ASU baseball had a big day against UCLA on Sunday, but center fielder Isaiah Jackson had an even bigger day.

The Sun Devils were in the midst of a rout over the Bruins in the eighth inning when UCLA outfielder JonJon Vaughns launched what looked like a three-run shot to right center off reliever Wyatt Halvorson. That was until Jackson robbed him, timing his leap perfectly to soar up over the wall and snag the ball.

Jackson's catch quickly caught fire on social media but caused an even bigger storm when SportsCenter rewarded him as the top player of its Top 10 plays on Monday.

ASU (20-21, 10-11 Pac-12) won the game 13-1 to complete its first sweep over the Bruins since 2010 and the first road series sweep for the program since 2016. The 12-run margin of victory was ASU’s largest over the Bruins since a 16-2 win in Tempe in 2005 and largest at Jackie Robinson Stadium since a 15-2 victory in 2002.

ASU allowed just six total runs in the series against the Bruins. It was the fewest runs allowed in a three-game series since giving up just four to Washington State in 2021.

The Sun Devils will return to start a home series Friday against USC at Phoenix Municipal Stadium at 6:30 p.m.
